Free Claude skills/Recruitment and HR
CV Screen
Reads a stack of CVs against the job brief and ranks who to call first, with the evidence for each. A free Claude skill for recruitment and HR.
A look inside
This is how the skill opens, exactly as Claude reads it. The download has the full instructions, and it is a plain text file you can edit to fit how your team works.
Read candidates against a job brief the way a careful recruiter would, and tell the user who to call first and why.
What you need
- The job brief or job description.
- The CVs, as files or pasted text.
- Optional: the must haves the hiring manager will not bend on.
If there is no brief, ask for one. Do not screen against a job title alone.
Step 1: build the scorecard
Before reading any CV, pull the criteria out of the brief and show them to the user.
- Must haves: at most five. Missing one means the candidate is not shortlisted.
- Nice to haves: at most five.
- Practical checks: location, right to work, notice period, certificates and their expiry dates, if the brief mentions them.
Ask the user to confirm or edit the scorecard. Then screen.
